It’s fair to say, I’ve owned a few Ford Trucks in my time. Let’s rehash them so you know you’re not talking to a novice Ford Truck owner.

When I was 15 I bought a 1965 Ford F100 long bed – 240 6 cylinder. Original as could be in 1989 or 90. I sold it and made some money on it. It would have been nice to keep, but I wasn’t loaded at the time (still not for that matter).

I bought a 1972 Ford F100 as an everyday driver when I was 16. I fixed and drove that for a few years before the engine gave out. The truck was pretty rough, but I loved it.

When I was 16 or 17 I also bought my 1953 Ford F100. It was then that I started to tear down and rebuild the truck. You can read about that story on the about page of F100 Central. Later on I purchased a 1954 Ford F100 to use for better parts. The 53 cab was pretty bad.

Then in 1994, I bought a new 94 F150 – not an F100, but close.

I’ve also owned an 89 F250 HD 4×4 which I really wish I still had. It was used for my landscape company.

Then I purchased a 1994 F350 SRW 4×4 which was the meanest truck ever. It was the workhorse of my 2 landscape trucks. It was an awesome work truck.

Later on I found a 1993 F150 and drove that for a while. It was like brand new and layed out for accessories. AC, PW, PL etc. Loaded for a 93.

We’ll be talking about trucks in this blog.
