F100 Supernationals Coming Soon!

May 15-17 is coming soon. Tons of Ford truckers will be in Tennessee to check out the Ford trucks. We’ll be there gathering info. and photos for many of our sites. We’ll be looking mostly for 56 Ford F100 trucks to photograph. Look for those photos a little bit after the event.

Easter Safari Weekend at Moab, Utah

4x4 trucks and Jeeps at MoabEaster Safari Weekend at Moab 2008 brought out a ton of Jeeps and trucks to crawl the rocks and boulders. There are some awesome shots of trucks barely making it over some pretty rugged territory. Check out the Moab 2008 event photos at 4×4truckworld.com

The 4×4TruckWorld.com Forum Is Breathing

We did it. We just launched a forum for you 4×4 nuts. Believe me, there’s not much more fun than slinging a little mud. We’ll be bringing you tech topics to help you with installation of new suspensions, tire info and a ton more. Plus, we’ll be going to the big shows. We should have plenty of photography up there soon. Check us out at 4×4truckworld.com

Bring out the F1 Trucks

F100 Central is now offering 48-52 Ford F1 parts. We have had 53-56 F100 parts for a while now, but are branching out to the slightly older F1’s. Some of the parts are the same as the 53-56 F100 models. It’s natural that we would expand here first. 1957 and up Ford trucks will be next on the schedule as F100 Central expands their Ford Truck product line.

Really Nice 59 f100 for sale on ClassicTruckCentral.com

On classictruckcentral.com (right now anyway), there is a really sweet 1959 F100. The owner put a lot of work and upgrades into the truck. I haven’t seen it personally, but the photos are nice. The truck has a 5.0 roller motor with EFI, Fatman front crossmember with Mustang II suspension, power rack, power brakes, tilt, Weld Rodlite wheels…etc. It’s priced right too. I’d be tempted to go to Georgia and check it out for myself. Check it out by clicking here.

Chevy Crate Engines

Why would you put that Chevy Crate Engine in your Ford truck? Well, they do run pretty well. I think of them more as just another powerplant for your truck. If they run well, why not. And, let’s be honest, they are a bit cheaper than the Ford counterparts. And, they have a huge selection. I love my Fords and I would keep the blue oval pure, but sometimes people just can’t. A truck on the road is better than no truck on the road... know what I mean????
